1945年、戦後の食糧難の中で、祖父・俵 安蔵が
「自らの手で、人々の食を支えたい」との想いから養蜂を始めました。

In 1945, amid the severe food shortages after the war,
my grandfather Anzo Tawara began beekeeping
with the strong will to support people’s lives through his own hands as a producer.

自然の恵みを生かし、みつばちと共に生きること。
それが彼の原点でした。

He believed that working with bees — living in tune with nature —
was the most genuine way to create nourishment and resilience.

その志を継いだ父・俵 博は、南米コロンビアで養蜂に携わり、
現地の自然と人々から多くを学びました。

My father, Hiroshi Tawara, carried on that spirit,
working as a beekeeper in Colombia and learning deeply from its land and people.

帰国後は獣医師として、みつばちの健康と養蜂の未来を研究し、
日本の養蜂文化の発展に力を注ぎました。

After returning to Japan, he became a veterinarian,
studying bee health and dedicating his life to improving Japanese apiculture.

そのコロンビアで、私は生まれました。
幼いころから、みつばちや自然と共に過ごしてきました。

I was born in Colombia, surrounded by bees and nature from the very beginning.

そして今、三代目の私は、
父と祖父から受け継いだ
**「自然と共に生きるDNA」**を胸に、
神戸・六甲山の豊かな自然の中で、みつばちと暮らしています。

Now, as the third generation, I carry within me the DNA of my father and grandfather —
the spirit of living in harmony with nature —
and continue our family’s beekeeping legacy in the rich forests of Mt. Rokko, Kobe.

私たちは、みつばちだけでなく、植物や動物、すべての命を慈しみ、
**SDGs（持続可能な社会）**の実現に向けた活動を続けています。

We cherish not only bees but also all living things — plants, animals, and people —
and continue our work guided by the SDGs, toward a sustainable and harmonious future.
